Sometimes we want a different from a default one on anything so we have something unique from everyone else. That also could happen on millions of Joomla based site. Here's the steps you can take to get your own unique offline page on your Joomla 1.5 based site.

First, download the offline page files here where you can find the files needed as our example for this making. The offline.php file on this attached is a copy from the offline.php from Joomla 1.5.8 core file and located in templates/system/ folder which as a default this file will be called by the system when the site is offline.

Then, upload the offline.jpg background image to your currently selected active template images folder, the offline.php to your current template folder and offline.css to the css folder. That's all.
