Load Joomla Plugin within a Module Has Never Been so Easy

On my previous joomla tips I wrote about how to load a plugin within a module in Joomla 1.5 and it seems not work as I expected because there's an issue with TPBlogger plugin I used. The CustomContent module used load also the tpblogger feature on my module space. Then while I was searching on JED, I foundĀ  this Article Intro module. Mmm..maybe this is what I need. I Install it and works like a charm. No conflict with TPBlogger anymore.

You can also have it a try for your own needs if you want to load any plugins avalaible that no module similar available for it, like image gallery plugin.

Here's to your blogging success.

Load a plugin within a module on Joomla 1.5

We have a built in custom HTML type module on Joomla 1.5 to use. That could be a handy module when we want to insert HTML tags or javascript codes like on an affiliate link. But have you wonder to insert a plugin you have and already works perfectly on your content articles into a module? Like a Youtube video plugin ( there's already youtube module out there). Give me some plugin examples that can't be applied on a module.

I have one example when I want to use TPFontReplacement plugin from TemplatePlazza (see it in action on their Folio Plazza) to be published on my header module position. As this plugin is only works on contents. So how to load it on a module?

The simplest one is to create a new content that contain this plugin code, just publish it in an uncategorized section/category. Then use CustomContent module to call this new content item.

I believe you already see this tips result when you first came here. Yes that's ugly photo on this Lab header module position above.
