UBMinim Free Joomla 1.6/1.7 Template

Today I'm releasing a free Joomla 1.6 template called UBMinim (Updated - it also works on your Joomla! 1.7, just use one-click upgrade option in the Extension Manager to upgrade your Joomla! 1.6 to 1.7 and all will works good if you're not using any 3rd party extensions).

As you can guest, this template is based on an old collection of UpstartBlogger's Minim Wordpress theme. I like the design and had a plan to convert this theme since long time ago. Hope you'll like it too.

UBMinim template is simple and focus just to your contents. That way make it perfect for your blog, website for promoting books or events or any Joomla-based websites that needs your site visitors to actually read your contents.

This template has only 5 module positions, 3 in the sidebar, one in each before and after the content. At this point, I only make this with one color theme. I'm thinking another color themes, like minimalist red, dark yellow, lemon lime etc. I also think to make this template for Joomla 1.5 too as there are still so many blogging or Content Construction Kit component ready for J! 1.5 like K2 (free), Zoo (free), EasyBlog (commercial).
