I'm just finishing a preliminary work for this new local travel website for a client, a Bali hot spots finder built using Joomla.

The objective of this Bali Spotting site is to provide an easy way to find hot spots in Bali island like hotels, villas, resto and bars, golf courses etc. using an online map provided by Google.

Currently site still only uses a JoomlaBamboo GoogleMap plugin to display the hot spots. This plugin only provide three object parameters to be displayed on the map. Then for this preliminary built, I only work out to use Google Search feature so users can search another places.

On the next steps, I have a plan to add features by developing a component so this application can have their own users submitted hot spot locations database. Thanks to JoomlaBamboo and kksou that already providing this GoogleMaps extensions for free so we can experiment it further to combine each extension features.
